Burton Shaun White Snowboard

The Burton Shaun White snowboard is a board sought after by many a rider. This is the board Shaun uses and he was involved in the design from start to finish.

Here was a guy that took his boards to the limit. He expected nothing less than perfection from his board and there was little on the market that pleased him. Shaun was after a high performance free style board that was playful and that Shaun could instantly command so that’s just what he designed.

Well wait, he didn’t design it all on his own. His brother Jesse actually was the one to create Yeti and then he teamed up with Jeff Easley a very talented artist who brought Yeti to life.

Where did it all begin? At 14 Shaun White was spending most of his time in the outdoors playing in the snow. And the entire time he’s had a board strapped to his feet while he is busy competing around the world.

In 2001 at the Winter Games Shaun finished 9th in the Super Half Pipe as well as 2nd in the Vans Triple Crown of Snowboarding. Shaun would have to agree this was a good year. No school, all kinds of travel, and some wins to go with it all. Wouldn’t it be great to be in his board steps?

Shaun loves to snowboard and skateboard constantly playing with new tricks and perfecting them. Shaun’s career has never wavered from the beginning.

In the Winter Games of 2006 Shaun won the slope style and half pipe. As well he was named Jeep’s Outstanding Athlete which left him the proud owner of a Jeep Commander. More fun for Shaun!

Shaun was having a great year. On top of all that he felt like this was his best year of boarding so far. His landings were always perfect, and his year just couldn’t be better.

I could go on and on about the awards Shaun has won but suffice is to say he is one of the best snowboarders ever and there’s no sign of that changing.
